Why I Had to Stop Thinking With My Venus
If you've met me for more than just a brief encounter, then you know I am blessed and cursed with the Pisces triple whammy. A Pisces sun, Venus and North Node all conjunct one another. I used to hate being a Pisces Venus, especially in my 20s. Now that i’m in my 30s I’ve grown to appreciate the beauty of having an exalted capacity to love, but that only came after I trained myself to stop thinking with my Venus. This wasn’t a quick thing that happened or something that was even necessarily conscious, but I do think it’s worth talking about. Maybe I can help another Pisces Venus out there on this vast floating ball of water and rock. Let me start by saying that whatever natal chart placements you have are completely by design. The collective consciousness needed you in your full authenticity right now at this very second for a higher purpose. When you tap into your own personal radiance and become the most authentic version of yourself, you allow the world to receive you and the gifts you came here to share. Because of this, we should never want to be something else. That being said, there are ways to lean into the placements you do have so that you can continue to expand, grow and manifest the life you’re truly meant to live. This my friends, is why I had to stop thinking with my Venus and start acknowledging my feelings for what they really are. Emotional indicators of whether or not I’m floating downstream. See, everything we want is downstream. The feeling of letting go of the oars, the feeling of alignment, the ease and the spark of electricity. You name it. Pisces Venus have a tendency to put on rose colored glasses and get caught in the emotional current of any scenario. A group dinner, a vacation, a first kiss, literally everything. We feel it all and get swept up in it, which actually is a major cheat code to manifestation, but our biggest downfall is we don’t know how to pivot when that upbeat vibration/ feeling dissipates and becomes something else. We then start to long for the old timeline, romanticizing it as if we could never achieve that again without all of those same components being in place. Instead of letting things go so that we can call forth something that matches our evolved state of desire, we get fixated on the old manifestation, not acknowledging that it was the VIBRATION we were so in touch with. The past lover, the exhilarated feeling of our tropical vacation or the high we get at a concert. We don’t realize that our feelings are our superpower when we use them as an emotional compass for our truth. When you’re feeling sad, your higher self isn’t viewing the situation the same way we are and the best way to actually get what you want is to get happy. To focus on what feels good instead of what doesn’t. Sadness is really the separation between you and you ( your higher self). Feeling joy means that you’re in alignment, a resistance free state that’s allowing you to be en route to all of your desires. Instead of thinking with my Venus I began acknowledging my ever in flux range of emotions and worked on allowing them to be there for what they were. Just a GPS notification on a long drive. I started utilizing the major creative power that comes with this Venus placement by pouring into my artwork and the relationships that filled me up instead of the ones that left me feeling confused and depleted. I leaned deeper into my psychic power, which every pisces Venus has FYI and truly honored my deep wisdom and high priestess nature. I began giving myself the exalted capacity of love and care that I used to hand out like halloween candy. Through these sometimes subtle shifts int my life I began feeling with my Venus instead and was able to know innately what is meant for me and what isn't. What deserves my time and what should simple be let go of. Yeah, sure … Pisces Venus are here to be the ultimate lovers, but that also means loving on yourself and having a say in what invitations are in alignment for you day by day. My advice? If it doesn’t feel good In your body its not something that’s leading to where you ultimately want to be. If you’re feeling overwhelmed - solitude. Get right with what feelings are yours and what are the feelings you’ve sponged up throughout your day. Let people find you instead of you chasing them, because you’re the empress card incarnate. Own it.
